Fayoum oasis, Valley of the Whales and Cairo adventure
We customised a 2-day tour with Samir in late Dec 2015. The customer service was first rate, within 24h we had designed our tour and this was done within a week of our tour date. We spent the first day doing a 4WD trip into the desert and visited the ruins of an ancient Greek city, the Fayoum oasis, went sand boarding and had bedouin tea at sunset by the oasis. The second day we explored Cairo including the Egyptian museum, coptic cairo, hanging church and the Khan-al-Khalili Bazaar. We were also able to include a felucca boat ride as Samir overheard our conversation that we enjoyed boating and immediately rearranged the agenda to fit this in.
Samir is an extremely personable and knowledgeable tour guide who listens to his guests and will tailor the tour to what interests/intrigues them. We had an amazing time and will be returning to see more of Egypt and will definitely book another tour with Samir.
